Andrew Shih, MD

Andrew Shih is the Clinical Director of Outpatient Imaging and is a board-certified in diagnostic radiologist. Dr. Shih completed his medical education in New York City at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2003. After an internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital, he completed his residency in diagnostic radiology and fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University, serving as Chief Resident as a senior resident. During his residency and fellowship, Dr. Shih took part in the radiologic evaluation of high-level and professional athletes, such as the New York Yankees. He remained on the educational staff at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University, until 2012.

As part of the faculty at Norwalk Hospital from 2010-2021, he co-authored several publications with radiology residents and was selected by the radiology residents for the Teaching Award. He has served on various hospital committees and undertaken quality improvement projects.

He joined the medical staff at Stamford Hospital in 2021 and will oversee clinical services at Norwalk Radiology Consultant's Imaging Center at SRC.

Dr. Shih was selected by the physician community in the Castle Connolly annual survey as one of the Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area, 2021.
